Presidentiables for 2010 Election

Here is my independent and analytic opinion on the Presidentiables for the upcoming automated elections next year.

Intentions are now clear and they have paved the way for an expected hot election climate by December this year. As we approached the "D-Day" let us collaborate some issues for each of this "future presidents alike".

Let us Start with Francis "Chiz" Escudero. The young and the "voice of the nation" as his campaign slogan speaks. Well what can we say, he has done the Philippines become more oppositionist against this Arroyo-Regime. He is the one makes me angry with this administration and I hope that I am not the only one.

Manuel "Manny" Villar The "Mister Sipag at Tiyaga". Former Senate President ousted by his friends in the Upper House. Like Julius Ceasar hmmm... His strong diplomatic appraoch in the Senate leads to his loss of that power to govern but let us face that scenario. It is given that politics tends that to happen.

Manuel "Mar" Roxas....Bayani Fernando....Noli DeCastro.....and there is ERAP anew and even Chief Justice Puno...and El Shaddai Leader Mike Velarde....

Only people can tell...not by mere surveys and opinions. It is the people's choice.

The House of Representatives voted in favor of the P11.3-billion supplemental budget on third reading Tuesday night, the House of Representatives is eyeing the approval of either one of two "companion bills" that will likely determine how the 2010 elections will be conducted.

HB 5715, the measure allocating an P11.3-billion supplemental budget for election automation, was approved Monday night with 193 affirmatives votes, one negative vote, and one abstention.

Now its the Philippine Senate will have to approved this supplemental budget for the COMELEC to start their work.

2010 Automated polls in GREAT Peril

The Commission on Elections may have to abandon its plan to fully automate the 2010 elections because of Congress’ delay in passing the P11.3-billion automation budget has compromised election preparations, according to Comelec Chair Jose Melo.

“We are really pressed for time. We are toying with the idea that it won’t be full capacity. Maybe we will automate 50 percent, not nationwide,” he said.

What is wrong really with the automated polls this coming national and local elections this coming year of 2010? Are the congressmen afraid that there will be no fraud in their districts?

The Congress should act upon this calling of not only the COMELEC but of the Filipino people as well. They only have 3 days do so or the election in our country will be as traditional as ever "manually" full of frauds.
